Saranjit Kaur Minhas joined Calnan Cox as an assistant solicitor in 2008, having qualified in 2006.

Saranjit has a wide legal and operational experience in commercial property and high value residential conveyancing work, gained in part from her role in property management before and after commencing her legal training. Transactions in which she has been involved include:

Acquiring land for property developers and builders, dealing with Section 106 and Section 104 agreements. Compiling sales packs and dealing with the sale of new build properties, Transfers of part and the granting and reservation of rights and easements. Dealing with new leases, and common parts.

Acquisitions and Sales of Business Premises
Acting for purchasers and sellers of freehold and leasehold commercial premises including industrial, retail and specialist retail such as restaurants, off licences, station outlets.

Property Management
Acting for property management companies of residential and commercial premises. Granting and assigning leases, section 25 notices, dealing with problem tenants, licences to assign, notices of assignment and charge.

Sales to the Secretary of State.

Residential Property
Sales, purchases, leasehold, freehold, granting easements, restrictive covenants, flying freeholds, remortgage, equity release, preparation/approval and registration of personal charges, probate sales, purchase by trustees, corporate and buy to let, landlord lettings

Auction Purchases
Checking contract documentation prior to auction bidding, completing purchases following a successful auction bid, dealing with auction finance.

Saranjit acts as a Local Conciliation Officer for the Legal Complaints Service, assisting in the resolution of disputes between other firms of solicitors and their clients.
